Law minister hints at possible amendments to PECA

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has indicated the possibility of amendments to the PECA (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) law.
Speaking to the media outside the Parliament House in Islamabad, the Law Minister stated that consultations with all stakeholders on PECA are ongoing.
He mentioned that discussions are being held between the Ministry of Interior, Information, and Information Technology regarding the law.
He emphasised that no law is permanent, and it is the authority of the Parliament to amend any law at any time.
Azam Nazeer Tarar added that if all parties agree on a matter, it can be addressed in an appropriate manner.
