Young people between age 18-35 can get interest free loans
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur has launched an online portal for disbursement of loans under Ehsaas Nojwan Scheme to empower youth financially.
Youth can submit online applications under this scheme to get interest free loans.
The Nojawan Program worth Rs3 billion is a three year project under which interest fee loans would be provided with the collaboration of Bank of Khyber.
Loans around Rs1 to 5 million would be provided to clusters of three to five young people between the ages of 18 to 35.
The loan could be returned within the timespan of eight years in an easy schedule.
CM Gandapur also inaugurated the Chief Minister Youth Internship Programme for young people.
Addressing the ceremony, KP CM stated that the PTI founder’s vision was to empower the nation that was being followed.
He vowed to help in building homes of the homeless and stressed that public welfare projects were being initiated despite financial constraints.
Gandapur emphasised that his government aimed to make youth entrepreneurs helping them in their business, not providing lower grade jobs.
He insisted that the government would provide opportunities to young people bringing ideas that would promote development and progress.
