May 9 cases: Hearing on Imran Khan's bail pleas adjourned

LAHORE (Dunya News) - The hearing on bail applications of founder of Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has been adjourned.
The hearing on PTI Founder Imran Khan's bail pleas in the cases related to May 9 incidents was adjourned till November 5 due to the absence of Anti Terrorism Court's (ATC) judge Manzer Ali Gill. The duty judge in ATC Irfan Haider adjourned the hearing on Saturday.
It merits mention that the PTI Founder Imran Khan has filed the post-arrest bail pleas in 12 cases. The PTI founder's bail pleas in eight cases are pending in admin court. The hearing on Imran Khan's bail pleas in eight cases including Jinnah House and Askari Tower attack case has been adjourned. The other four cases are pending in Anti Terrorism Court Number 3.
On the other hand, in the Court Room No. 3, Honourable Judge Arshad Javed hinted announcing decision on bail applications, where Imran Khan's counsel Barrister Salman Safdar appeared for bail in four cases. The hearing on Imran Khan's four bail pleas including burning of the office of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held in Court No. 3.
The decision on PTI founder's bail pleas in four cases including setting fire to PML-N office, containers Kalma Chowk, in front of Gulberg National Park is expected to be pronounced today.
