Pakistan sends 14th aid shipment to Gaza, Lebanon

Aid consignment was sent by air from Karachi to Beirut, Lebanon
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – On the instructions of the prime minister, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Sunday dispatched the 14th aid shipment to Gaza and Lebanon from Karachi.
The relief consignment carried 17 tons of supplies, including tents, food tins, dry milk, clothes and hygiene kits.
The send-off ceremony was held at the Jinnah International Airport Karachi, which was attended by Federal Minister for Maritimes Affairs Qaisar Shah and the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), NDMA, and Al-Khidmat Foundation.
The attendees emphasised the need of aid for war-torn regions of Gaza and Lebanon and affirmed Pakistan's resolve to stand with Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters in these hard times.
The aid consignment was sent by plane from Karachi to Beirut, Lebanon.
Pakistan has already sent 13 shipments of aid to Gaza and Lebanon. With the latest consignment, Pakistan has sent 1,398 tons of aid volume.
