ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Court of Pakistan has dismissed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) review petition regarding intra-party elections.

A three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, heard the request for review against the decision on PTI's intra-party elections.

The bench included Justices Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Musarrat Hilali.

PTI's lawyer, Hamid Khan, requested the formation of a larger bench for the review, suggesting that the case be sent to a committee for this purpose.

During the hearing, Barrister Ali Zafar noted that a constitutional amendment had occurred, under which this case should not be head in this court anymore. Chief Justice Isa remarked that he had not seen the amendment and was unaware of its details.

The Supreme Court stated that it had given both parties' lawyers another opportunity, but no arguments were presented.

It concluded that no errors were proven in their January 13 decision, thus dismissing the review petition.
