ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - MQM Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar has stated that the proposed constitutional amendments were being made not on principles but based on political interests.
In response to a question about supporting the proposed amendments, Sattar noted that the MQM has yet to see the draft of the constitutional reform.
He further explained that the amendments being introduced were influenced by political necessities, noting that if the PTI were in power, they would also propose similar amendments.
Sattar added that the PTI was also in agreement on enhancing the role of Parliament in the appointment of judges and constitutional courts.
