Gen Munir assures visiting delegation of Pakistan’s full support to Saudi Arabia
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – A Saudi delegation, led by Minister for Investment of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Faleh, on Thursday called on Chief of the Army Staff Gen Syed Asim Munir in the General Headquarters (GHQ).
The high-powered Saudi delegation includes government officials and businessmen.
On this occasion, the COAS said the arrival of Saudi businessmen signified strong relationship between two countries.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), military’s media wing, the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest and exchanged views to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Gen Munir assured the visiting delegation of Pakistan’s full support to Saudi Arabia.
The COAS also thanked Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) for their unwavering support for Pakistan.
SAUDI DELEGATION ARRIVES IN PAKISTAN ON THREE-DAY VISIT
Minister for Investment of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Faleh, along with representatives of private companies and top government officials, arrived in Pakistan on Oct 9 (Wednesday) on a three-day official visit.
Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatization and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and Federal Minister for Petroleum Muhammad Musadik Malik, along with senior officials, warmly received the distinguished guests at the Islamabad airport.
The Saudi minister and business delegation will have a busy schedule in Pakistan. The Saudi delegation will hold business-to-business meetings with Pakistani companies. During this visit, bilateral trade and investment between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, mutual agreements and important memoranda of understanding will also be signed.
The Saudi Arabia’s investment minister will also call on the president and prime minister during his stay in Pakistan besides important meetings with the business community in Islamabad.
