Punjab governor administered the oath
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Ayesha Hamid has taken oath as Punjab’s first ombudswoman.
The oath-taking ceremony for ombudswoman was held in Governor House, Punjab.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan administered the oath to the ombudswoman.
Implementation and Coordination Secretary Rafaqat Ali Nisawana issued the notification of Ayesha Hamid as Punjab’s ombudswoman.
Former provincial ombudsman, retired Maj Azam Suleman, former Punjab governor Shahid Hamid, former federal minister Zahid Hamid, principal secretary to governor, retired Capt Saqib Zafar, NHA Chairman Shehryar Sultan, Jahanzaib Khan and others attended the ceremony.
