Dunya Media Group Chairman Mian Amer receives FPCCI award from President
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Dunya Media Group and Punjab Group of Colleges Chairman Mian Amer Mahmood received the prestigious award at the 12th Federation of Pakistan Chambers and Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Excellence Awards ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by members of the business community, and senior government officials which was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
President Asif Ali Zardari was the chief guest.
Former caretaker minister Gohar Ejaz, FPCCI president Atif Akram Sheikh and renowned personalities from various fields of life were also present on the occasion.
In the educational department, Punjab Group of Colleges was awarded with the award of ‘Best Educational Network’ in the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari presented the award to Punjab Group of Colleges chairman Mian Amer Mahmood.
In the same vein, Lake City was given the the award for Best Real Estate Project in the country which was received by its CEO Sultan Gohar.
The president said on the occasion that steps would be taken to provide cost-effective electricity, land and other facilities to help promote trade and industry.
Gohar Ejaz, meanwhile, said Pakistan has started its journey of progress again and its economy has been showing the positive signs lately.
