Parliament's special committee session starts as Fazl takes centre stage
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – After multiple attempt by government and opposition to woo his support, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman reached the parliament to take part in the session of special committee.
He proposed that the constitutional amendment bill should be deferred till tomorrow.
Flanked by party’s senior leaders, sources said he was in the chamber of Maulana Atta ur Rehman.
Answering a question whether his support was for the government or opposition, he said ‘wait and see’.
In the special committee session, he also proposed that the bill should be deferred till tomorrow.
