Jamaat-e-Islami to hold sit-ins in all four provincial capitals

First sit-in in Karachi, then in Peshawar, Lahore, Quetta
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamaat-e-Islami decided to hold sit-ins in all four provincial capitals against electricity rates and revision of contracts with the IPPs.
The Jamaat-e-Islami held a meeting regarding sit-in plan C. The JI emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman presided over the meeting.
All the leadership including the provincial leaders of the party participated in the meeting.

It is said that Jamaat-e-Islami has completed all arrangements for the public sit-in.
Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a sit-in in Karachi from Friday. Later, the sit-ins will be held in Peshawar, Lahore and Quetta.
The sources further said that the protest would then be expanded to the divisional level.
Jamaat-e-Islami Information Secretary Qaiser Sharif confirmed Plan C. He said that the Jamaat has prepared all the preparations for the sit-in.
