Court sent Shah Mahmood to jail on 14-day judicial remand
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Lahore’s anti-terrorism court (ATC) has ordered challan submission of cases registered in Lahore against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
ATC’s Judge Khalid Arshad has issued the written judgement of registered cases in Lahore against Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The written order mentioned that investigation officer has demanded 30-day physical remand of Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Investigation officer hasn’t submitted any progress report about Shah Mahmood in the court. The court ordered Shah Mahmood’s shift to jail on 14-day judicial remand.
The court judgement stated that investigation office has demanded to recover phone of Shah Mahmood. However, Shah Mahmood’s counsel affirmed that his client’s mobile phone was confiscated during arrest.
The court has issued directives to shift Shah Mahmood to jail on judicial remand by instructing challan submission of registered cases in Lahore.
