11 coal miners die of suffocation in Quetta

QUETTA (Dunya News) - As many as 11 people died of suffocation due to the gas leakage in a coal mine in Sanjdi area near Quetta on Monday.
The deceased included nine labourers, the contractor and the mine manager.
Chief Mines Inspector Abdul Ghani Baloch said the tragic incident took place as a result of the gas leakage in mine.

All the ill-fated people were from Swat.
The dead bodies would be sent to their native towns after the funeral prayers, said the chief mines inspector.
