9-member joint task force to probe passport scam

DG-IB will lead force
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government, in response to the fake passport scandal, established a 9-member joint task force (JTF) led by DG-IB within the Ministry of Interior.
This task force will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive investigation into passport fraud.
It includes officers from ISI, MI, and FIA, as well as representatives from FBR, Nadra, and PTA.
Additionally, Interior Ministry officials have been included in the task force.
The Ministry of Interior has formally issued a notification regarding the establishment of this task force, following the prior creation of an inquiry committee.
