Police officers tender unconditional apology in Parvez Elahi contempt case
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A contempt of court petition regarding the safe return of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was heard in the Lahore High Court where both the DIG Operations and the DIG Investigation presented their unconditional apology.
In their responses, the two officers explained that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi's arrest was carried out by the Islamabad police, and an arrest warrant had been issued by a judicial magistrate, Islamabad.

It's worth mentioning that a contempt of court petition was filed by Qaisara Elahi, the wife of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, for arresting his husband despite court orders.
