Nawaz to lead Pakistan on road to progress: Dar
LONDON (Dunya News) – Former federal finance minister and central leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Ishaq Dar, has stated that consultations regarding the return of Nawaz Sharif have been completed, and he is set to return to Pakistan on Wednesday.
Speaking in London, Dar said, “PML-N's stance is crystal clear: Pakistan needs to regain its 24th economy status, and if the public provides the opportunity, Pakistan will progress under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.”
Dar pointed out that there was a 100 percent risk of Pakistan defaulting before the PDM government took office.
He stated that international and some internal forces had intended to turn Pakistan into a Sri Lanka, but our struggle was to save Pakistan.
