Pervez, Moonis have to account for corruption in Punjab
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - PML-N leader Atta Tarar says former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi will have to account for their corruption in the province.
Speaking to media, he claimed that Rs120 billion or so were spent on the master plan of Lahore alone.
Tarar further said it's being ordered a criminal should be escorted to his home. "Where was justice when entire families were inside jails," he asked.
“Today there are talks of contempt by police officers. What is the fault of the police officers,” he questioned.
“The police officers are being served show-cause notices. Passing such an order that a criminal should be dropped at home is the actual contempt of court,” Tarar said.

A new tradition had been set, he said, that those involved in mega corruption cases were being escorted to their homes.
