Prime Minister was scheduled to inaugurate special economic zone's first phase
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif cancelled his visit to Nowshera due to bad weather on Friday.
Earlier, the prime minister was scheduled to visit Nowshera to inaugurate the Rashakai Special Economic Zone (SEZ) first phase.
According to sources, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali, caretaker KP Chief Minister Mohammad Azam Khan and some federal and provincial ministers were scheduled to attend the inaugural ceremony.
The authorities would brief the prime minister on premier's rescheduled visit. The project is part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
