The PML-N leader says the preparations for general elections have alsmost initiated
SIALKOT (Dunya News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday said the preparations for the general elections had almost started and within a month the National Assembly would be dissolved after completing its term.
Addressing the workers' convention, he said the decision of seat adjustments with other parties in the PDM would be taken after the dissolution of the assembly.
The minister highlighted that the PDM came to power in difficult circumstances and it had a choice to dissolve the assemblies after coming to power mentioning that had the assemblies dissolved, deal with IMF would not have been possible.
He said that May 9 was a dark day in the country's history and that the elements involved in the May 9 vandalism must be brought to book.
The minister said wrong political decisions of the PTI chairman pushed the country to a quagmire of problems.
