Bubra Bibi summoned in £190 million NCA scam

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday summoned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief in Toshakhana case on July 4.

The PTI chairman was summoned by the NAB Rawalpindi in this regard. On the same day, the accountability watchdog also summoned former first lady Bushra Bibi in connection with the £190 million NCA scam.

Earlier, the PTI chief and former first lady Bushra Bibi were separately summoned by the NAB on June 26.

NAB Lahore and NAB Rawalpindi's two-member team reached Zaman Park on Friday to deliver the notice to the PTI chairman and his wife.

The PTI chief and his wife were required to appear before the NAB in Rawalpindi on Monday, according to the NAB.

The deposed prime minister was told to appear before the accountability watchdog in the Toshakhana case, while the former first lady was told to appear in the Al-Qadir Trust case, according to the notice.

The summons had been received by the PTI chief's lawyer Ali Ijaz Buttar.
