LHC bars anti-corruption from arresting Usman Buzdar
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued an order to the Punjab anti-corruption department, barring them from arresting former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in various secret cases.
This decision was made during a hearing of the case filed by Mr. Buzdar, seeking details of the charges against him.
Justice Tariq Salim Sheikh presided over the hearing and ordered the anti-corruption department to submit a response by the following day.
Additionally, the court called for the Punjab additional advocate general to provide assistance in the matter.
The former Punjab Chief Minister is facing multiple allegations of corruption.
