Qatar envoy calls on Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Qatar’s Ambassador to Pakistan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani called on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the meeting held at the residence of JUI-F chief in Islamabad. Ambassador of Qatar inquired after the health of Maulana Fazlur Rehman during the meeting.
The two dignitaries also discussed bilateral ties, trade between Pakistan and Qatar and other matters of mutual interests. The two also discussed the overall situation in the region during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Pakistan places considerable importance on its relation with Qatar which is based on strong foundations of common faith and culture.
