Zahid Akhtar Zaman assumes charge as Punjab chief secretary
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The newly-appointed Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman assumed the charge of his office on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Punjab caretaker government notified his appointment as the Punjab Chief Secretary.
Mr Zaman, who blonges to 24th Common of the Civil Service of Pakistan, has served as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) South Punjab, ACS Cabinet division, senior member Board of Revenue (BoR), Secretary Health Punjab and the Lahore Development Authority director general.
The appointment follows the approval of the Election Commisison of Pakistan (ECP).
