Sindh Govt decides to amend Local Government Act

After the Sindh Government's letter to the Election Commission, the LG election will be postponed.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government on late Thursday night decided to amend Local Government Act on demand of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) days before LG elections in Karachi and Hyderabad.
According to sources, Sindh government will write a letter to the Election Commission under Section 10 of the Provincial Local Government Act in this regard.
Sources also said that after the Sindh Government s letter to the Election Commission, the Local Government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad will be postponed.
