PTI to exit NA along with dissolution of Punjab, KPK assemblies: Fawad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhary said on Thursday the PTI has decided to exit the National Assembly along with dissolving Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.

Speaking to “Dunya Kamran Khan kay sath”, he said the PTI had only one-point agenda of fresh elections and the government must resolve to talk on fresh elections [if it wanted to negotiate] adding the country could not achieve economic stability without political stability.

He said it was a rabid thought that technocrats could come to power by ousting the politicians adding that the performance of the incumbent government was enough to dawn on us the fact that the government enjoying public support could only ameliorate the country’s situation. He said the PML-N would not even be able to find candidates for general elections as the government could not deliver.

Mr Fawad said Punjab assembly could be dissolved on Dec 17 adding the dissolution of assemblies would result in elections on 70pc of the constituencies.

He claimed that the PTI would secure two-third majority in the general elections adding the PTI managed to win even when Hamza Shehbaz was the chief minister of Punjab.
He asked how the government that was not willing to conduct fresh elections would run the affairs of the country.
