Politicians have to work for supremacy of law, democracy: Fazl

Fazlur Rahman said foreign policy of any country is made keeping in mind the national interest.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday said the politicians have to work jointly for the supremacy of law and strengthening of democracy in the country, Dunya News reported.
He stated this while addressing a reference held to memory of Balochistan National Party (BNP) founder Sardar Attaullah Mengal in Karachi on Sunday.
Criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, the PDM president said that the former government had frozen the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and added that we have started the project again.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that foreign policy of any country is always made keeping in mind the national interest. He said that Iran and Afghanistan are our neighboring countries and Pakistan should have trade relations with them.
