11 die in different incidents after disastrous rain in Balochistan

Monsoon rains continued for a second day in several districts of Balochistan.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - 11 people died in Balochistan in different incidents including falling of walls and people getting electrocuted after heavy rainfall hit the city.
Monsoon rains continued for a second day in several districts of Balochistan on Wednesday. Due to torrential rains, the rivers and canals of the province have overflowed. Several people have also got injured when the walls and roofs of dozens of houses collapsed due to flashfloods, when people were swept away or when they drowned.
According to sources, several areas of Balochistan have been flooded due to the heavy rainfall and due to the power outages the citizens are facing problems.
Several roads have been damaged and due to which travelling has badly been affected in the provincial capital.
As per sources, due to heavy rain in Chaman, Punjab Loralai road has been closed. Due to the flooded roads, rescue mission is also affected.
Due to the disastrous rains, railway tracks have also been affected while several trains travelling from Quetta to Lahore have been delayed.
