Independent candidates of KP local govt polls announce to join PTI
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Forty independent candidates who had won the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local body polls announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) on Tuesday.
Addressing the gathering in Bannu, KP Chief Minister (CM) Mehmood Khan felicitated the members who joined village council members and gifted them the party s caps.
He further said that for the first time the present government held direct elections for the post of Tehsil Chairman. PTI has performed well in Bannu in the first phase of local body elections.
