Federal Cabinet approves Finance (Supplementary) Bill 2021

The meeting has approved Finance (Supplementary) Bill 2021.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Bowing down to the tough conditions laid out by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan approved Finance (Supplementary) Bill 2021.
PM Imran Khan is also scheduled to preside over the meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Party in which the members of the assembly will be briefed on the mini-budget.
Later in the day, the Finance Amendment Bill 2021 will be unveiled in the National Assembly (NA) by Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin.
Speaker Asad Qaiser will chair the session of the assembly today at 4:00 pm in Parliament House, Islamabad. The NA Secretariat has issued an 18-point agenda for the meeting.
According to the agenda, a resolution will be tabled to extend the Federal Government Property Management Authority Ordinance by 120 days. A resolution for 120-day extension in the Public Properties Ordinance, 2021 is also on the agenda.
The regulation of generation, transmission and distribution of power ordinance will also be presented for extension.
