Mushahidullah expresses concern over PM's absence in NA, senate sessions on COVID-19
Mushahidullah said that the sessions will pass but the premier will not attend any of them.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Mushahidullah Khan on Thursday has expressed concerns over the absence of Prime Minister Imran Khan during the National Assembly and Senate sessions on coronavirus.
While speaking in Senate, the senator said that the sessions will pass but the premier will not attend any of them.
Meanwhile, Mushahidullah Khan questioned the government’s accountability, asking "How can you blame elites? Where is your accountability?"
He said the government should have created a national consensus on fighting this pandemic.
Unfortunately, the government rejected offers of cooperation from opposition leaders Shahbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he told.
The PML-N leader said the government created Tiger Force instead of seeking cooperation from the opposition as a joint strategy.
