LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Punjab Council of the Arts has ordered the closure of theatres across the province during the holy month of Ramazan.
According to a notification issued by the Government of Punjab, all theatres have been shut down across Punjab in respect of the sanctity of Ramazan.
Under the directive, film and drama theatres will remain temporarily closed for the public throughout the holy month. The decision was taken to ensure public respect for religious observance during Ramazan.
Authorities said the ban will remain in place for the entire duration of Ramazan, and theatre activities will remain suspended during this period.
