Diljit becomes 1st Indian artist on Billboard

(Web Desk) - Diljit Dosanjh continued his historic year by becoming the first Indian artist to be featured cover-to-cover in a special edition of Billboard.
This was a landmark achievement for Diljit and Billboard, which released its first print edition of Billboard Canada.
The singer announced this release at his concert at the London 02 Arena on Friday, October 18, 2024.
This edition will feature exclusive photos of the Punjabi superstar, as well as behind-the-scenes images and stories from his Dil-Luminati tour.
It will also feature a cover story interview with Diljit, which details his rise to fame from a small village in Punjab to becoming one of the most prominent Indian artists in the world.
There will be an inside look into all things Diljit, with his distinctive fashion sense, his dancing, and his singing onstage.
His collaborations with well-known Western artists, like Ed Sheeran, Sia and Saweetie, will also be included.
The special edition will be available individually or as a box set featuring four different covers.
They will include a surprise edition, which will be part of the global Billboard initiative to be unveiled in December.
The cover will feature multiple languages and looks, and limited edition copies signed by Diljit Dosanjh will also be available.
The special edition and boxed sets are available worldwide by mail order.
Pre-orders are officially open as of Friday, October 18, and are expected to sell out quickly.

In 2023, Diljit became the first India-born artist to perform at the Coachella Music Festival.
