However, Zarqa Shahid claimed that he once blocked her entry into showbiz.
His staunch stance revolved around the adamant refusal to allow the family’s women to pursue on-screen work.
Whether in films or even modelling assignments, he restricted them from doing such work.

However, a significant shift in Shaan’s outlook has come to light with the emergence of his daughter as a rising talent in the industry.
Despite his previous reservations, Shaan now stands firmly behind his daughter as she embarks on her own journey in show business.
Zarqa revealed: “He didn’t get angry much. But the thing that angered him extremely was girls joining the entertainment industry.
“When I got modelling offers while I was still young, he used to refuse. He is extremely strict and disciplined at home.”
Zarqa is currently pondering the transformation in Shaan’s views that now permit his daughter to enter the film industry.
She finds herself amazed by this shift in his perspective, yet she also expresses her joy at his changed stance.
