Forbes reveals list of Indian stars with biggest paychecks
(Web Desk) – It is now an open secret that the Bollywood bigwigs charge an immense amount of rupees for their performance in movies.
Lately, a report by Forbes has shed some light on the paychecks the Indian stars get.
The magazine has published a report featuring the list of the highest-paid Indian film stars, spanning from Bollywood to South Indian cinema.
The topper of the list is Shah Rukh Khan who is dubbed as King Khan charge INR 150 crore to INR 250 crore per film.
Rajinikanth, South Indian superstar, is ranked second who earns between INR 115 crore to INR 170 crore per movie.
Another South Indian actor Joseph Vijay is third in the elite list who charges INR 130 crore to INR 250 per movie.
South Indian cinema has been gaining significance in recent years due to the likes of Pushpa and RRR.
Prabhas, the fourth highest-paid actor, earns between INR 100 crore to INR 200 crore per project.
Aamir Khan, Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist, earns with a remuneration of INR 100 crore to INR 275 crore.
Salman Khan is the sixth highest-paid actor, earning between INR 100 crore to INR 150 crore per film.
The list also includes Kamal Haasan in the seventh position, Allu Arjun in the eighth, Akshay Kumar in the ninth, and Ajith Kumar in the tenth spot.
