The actor revealed that she is working on a whole series of books for future
(Web Desk) - Alia Bhatt has begun a new chapter of her life by launching a children’s book.
Under the Ed-a-Mamma universe, the first book in the series is titled Ed Finds A Home.
Alia took to Instagram to share her excitement about being an author.
Smiling with the book, Alia wrote: “A new adventure begins. Ed Finds A Home is just the beginning of a new series of books from the universe of Ed-a-mamma.
“My childhood was full of storytelling and storytellers… and one day I had a dream to bring out that child in me and put it into books for children.
“I am so grateful to my fellow storytellers, Vivek Kamath, @shabnamminwalla and @tanvibhat.draws, who with their wonderful ideas, inputs and imagination helped bring our first book to life.
“Fingers crossed for this journey ahead.”
Fans were happy to see Alia Bhatt turn author and said they would buy the book for their children.
One said: “I love this! Can’t wait to read with my son!”
Another wrote: “Ordered this for my lil one. Can’t wait to read it to my son!”
Alia Bhatt paid tribute to her grandfather who was her “favourite storyteller”.
Sharing unseen childhood pictures, Alia wrote:
“My favourite storyteller… Happy birthday Grandpa, you and your stories live on in our hearts forever.”
