(Dunya News) - Thirty-four years have passed since the death of legendry actor Mazhar Shah.
The accomplished actor died on October 11, 1989. His 34th death anniversary is being observed on Wednesday (today).
He was the actor whose acting both in Urdu and Punjabi films blended in with reality.
Mazhar Shah's real name was Syed Munoor Ali Shah. He was born on January 31, 1923 in Gwalmandi area of Lahore.
He introduced a new style of villain in Punjabi films. Mazhar Shah started his career in Urdu films.
Films Bahrupiya and Rani Khan brought Mazhar Shah to the heights of fame.
His films include Mazloum, Dhandan, Maa Patar, Ghaddar, Ferengi, Dachi, Waris Shah, Chodiyan, Sassi Pannu, Ran Mureed, Punjab Da Sher, Hath Jodi, Sir Da Sain, Dolly, Jagri Yaar, etc.
In film Mahram Dil Da, he played the part of hero, but audience always liked him to be villain in films.
