Zeenat Aman encourages followers to avoid "colouring their hair”
(Web Desk) - In her 50th Instagram post, Zeenat Aman acknowledged that she had influenced three of her followers to dye their hair when she first joined the platform.
Zeenat posted a lovely photo of herself showing off her grey hair on Instagram. She penned a long, uplifting letter urging her readers to be secure in their inherent identities.
She wrote: “Grey weather, grey hair and a splash of colour to offset it all! I didn’t intend for my grey hair to be a statement, but a statement it has become.”
“In fact, yesterday I read a tweet by someone who said they know at least three people who have been inspired to stop colouring their hair since I made my Instagram debut!”
"This was a beautiful complement, in my opinion. I'm more delighted if embracing my natural hair inspires others to follow suit.
So, in honour of my 50th Instagram post, I'd want to salute everyone sporting gorgeous silver hair! Please share a photo of yourself (or a loved one with grey hair) and tag me in it," she said.
“I’d love to share your pictures to my own stories. After all, life isn’t black and white, it’s grey”, concluded the 71-year-old actress.
