Priyanka Chopra did not audition for 'Cidatel'

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is currently engaged in promoting her upcoming series Citadel, has shared that she did not have to audition for the show.
She explained that being a Bollywood leading lady, she knows her job and is confident in her abilities and therefore did not feel the need to audition. Priyanka also talked about her aim to bring more Indian faces behind and in front of the camera in Hollywood, with several shows in development.
The actress also discussed the issue of pay disparity in India, revealing that she has been paid less than her male co-stars in the past but has received equal pay for her role in Citadel. The show, which co-stars Richard Madden, will be available on Amazon Prime from April 28, and Priyanka also has the Bollywood film Jee Le Zaraa in the pipeline.
