KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Two alleged dacoits were shot dead by a citizen on Burnas Road, near Jamia Cloth Market, on Sunday night, police said.
The dacoits were chasing a car in an attempt to loot its driver, who mustered courage, and fired gunshots to drive the dacoits away, but the bullets hit them.
As a result, a dacoit was killed on the spot whereas his accomplice sustained bullet injuries and was admitted to a nearby hospital, where he could not survive.
Receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
Forensic evidence were being collected by the police to look into the matter.
