ANF arrests 10 traffickers in countrywide operations

Over 134 kilogramme drugs were seized during the operations
RAWALPINDI (APP) - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested 10 drug peddlers and seized over 134 kilogramme drugs during countrywide operations on Tuesday.
The ANF spokesperson said 72 kilogramme hash, 48kg opium, three kilogramme ice and one kilogramme heroin were recovered from a car stopped near Kot Abdul Malik Interchange Multan.
Two suspects from Peshawar were sent behind the bars.
In a joint operation conducted by the ANF and Rangers in Lahore, around 4,650 grams of heroin were recovered and four suspects were netted.
A resident of Chagai, who was trying to smuggle drugs from Quetta to Multan, was also arrested.
The ANF has registered cases and further action is under way against the suspects.
