FAISALABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a notorious and most-wanted human trafficker in a major operation carried out in Faisalabad.
According to the FIA officials, more than 30 cases were registered against trafficker Tahir Nadeem. As per the reports, 14 cases and three inquiries were registered against the accused in FIA Faisalabad circle alone.
Officials said that 16 cases of fraud were registered against the accused in different police stations of Faisalabad. The accused minted millions of money from the innocent people through fraud in the name of sending them abroad. Nadeem was involved in sending citizens to Europe, Canada, Japan and other countries illegally.
The suspect was a proclaimed offender as six challans were submitted against him in the past.
The FIA officials recovered 25 Pakistani passports, fake bank stamps, visas of different countries, and cheque-books from the accused during the raid.
Another case has been registered against the accused while raids are being conducted to arrest his other accomplices.
