OKARA (Dunya News) – A citizen was killed in Okara district of Punjab for resisting robbery during the late hours of Friday night.
The incident occurred was reported on Jaboke road within jurisdiction of Gogerah police station. A citizen identified as Sajjad was robbed by dacoits and upon facing resistance from the victim, the robber gunned him down.
The victim was severely injured who succumbed to his injuries within short time after the incident. The body of the deceased victim was shifted to hospital by police after taking into custody.
Police say they are determined to maintain law and order situation in the district and soon the culprits will be held responsible for their crimes.
