Peshawar woman, four children suffer burns in acid attack

A female neighbourer attacked the victims over a petty issue
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A woman and her four children received multiple burns after her neighbourer sprinkled acid on them in Yakkatoot area of Peshawar on Monday.
Among the victims are 11-year-old Hira, Hidayatullah and 9-year-old Fareeda. The victims were immediately rushed to the burns unit of a state hospital. Police registered a case against the suspect (SH) and her husband Ziarat Gul on the victim's complaint.
Acid attacks in Pakistan are very much common, wreaking havoc with the social fabric and pointing finger on human rights violations in the society.
