Laborer killed by torture of influential in Muridke
MURIDKE (Dunya News) – A man was killed after being brutally tortured by a Chaudhry [an influential person in the village] at the village crossroads in Abadi Fatehpuri region of Muridke.
According to the police, the accused Zaigham Chatha harshly tortured a laborer named Imran before killing him. The victim was a father of six children. His family also held a protest seeking justice for him.
In this regard, the police further said that the body of the deceased Imran was shifted to THQ Hospital for postmortem. While, the house of the accused was also raided to arrest him but he was not found and his residence was locked.
The police added that the accused will be arrested soon.
