ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday hosted a luncheon in honour of the cricket teams of Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, who are participating in the tri-nation series.
He commended the spirit, skill, and dedication demonstrated by the teams of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe in the ongoing tri-nation series.
The prime minister said that all the players are representing their countries in the best possible way.
He emphasised that players should set an excellent standard of sportsmanship and mutual respect during the matches, which will serve as a guiding light for the younger generation.
Shehbaz Sharif also appreciated the Pakistan Cricket Board, under the leadership of Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, for successfully organising the series with outstanding arrangements, effective strategy, and high professional competence.

He underscored that the continued hosting of international cricket in Pakistan is a testament to the country's positive image, peace, and stability.

The luncheon was also attended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi as well as High Commissioners of Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
