PSL 9: Islamabad United pip Karachi Kings by five wickets
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by five wickets in a crucial match of the Pakistan Super League season nine (PSL 9) at Pindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
United chased down 151-run target with five wickets and eight balls to spare.
Kings' captain Shan Masood remained unimpressive in today’s game also as he was dismissed by Faheem Ashraf for 10 runs. Tim Seifert and James Vince made 26 and 29, respectively, to give a boost to the total.
Kings lost their middle order in quick session and Kieron Pollar at this time played a much-needed knock of 39 runs that helped his side to set a fighting target for United.
