KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistani rupee gained slightly against the US dollar in the interbank market on Thursday, continuing its recent upward trend.

The dollar fell by one paisa, closing at PKR 280.26, down from PKR 280.27 recorded the previous day.

Traders noted that the rupee is gradually gaining ground, reflecting improved market sentiment and steady demand for the local currency.

Experts say small daily movements could add up over time, helping stabilise the exchange rate.

The interbank market continues to monitor currency flows closely, as fluctuations in the dollar can impact imports, exports, and overall economic activity.
