Gold prices remain steady while silver gains slightly in local and global markets

Gold prices stayed stable today both globally and in Pakistan, while silver inched up slightly, pushing local market rates higher.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices held firm today in both international and local markets, while silver saw a minor uptick, according to market sources.
In the global bullion market, gold remained unchanged at $4,165 per ounce. Locally, the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association reported that 24-carat gold per tola stayed steady at Rs 438,862, and 10-gram gold remained at Rs 376,253.
Silver, on the other hand, experienced a slight rise.
The international silver price increased by $1.60 per ounce, reaching $53.70, leading local markets to adjust prices upward.
As a result, per tola silver rose by Rs 160 to Rs 5,642, and per 10 grams went up by Rs 138 to Rs 4,699.
Experts say that while gold remains the safe bet, the silver market is showing some movement, reflecting small fluctuations in global demand and trading patterns.
