Gas supply from the Adam West Field well in Mithiyari, Sindh, has resumed after a six-year halt due to water intrusion.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gas supply from Mithiyari in Sindh has been restored, Pakistan Petroleum (PPL) announced to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
According to the company, gas reserves at the Adam West Field well in Mithiyari were discovered in 2014, and production started in 2015.
The letter stated that the well’s gas flow had completely stopped in 2019 due to increased water ingress.
In October 2025, side-track testing was conducted to resume gas delivery.
As a result, the well is now producing approximately 8.5 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) of gas.
