Imported LNG prices jacked up for September: OGRA

Consumers are expected to feel the pinch as the higher rates trickle down the line
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has set new prices for imported RLNG for September, giving both Sui companies a fresh price hike compared to last month.
According to the notification, RLNG has become costlier by up to 28 cents per MMBTU. For Sui Southern Gas Company, the new price has been fixed at $11.01 per MMBTU, up from $10.73 in August.
Meanwhile, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has also been hit by the hike. The September price has been set at $12.01 per MMBTU, compared to $11.73 last month.
OGRA increases prices of imported LNG prices
This means RLNG has gone up by 2.63% for Sui Southern and 2.38% for Sui Northern. Consumers are expected to feel the pinch as the higher rates trickle down the line.
